NEW RETRO GALLERY ART & INDUSTRY
JOINS THE MANHATTAN ART & ANTIQUES CENTER

Art & Industry, located in gallery #24, brings an assemblage of intriguing new offerings to the eclectic mix of galleries housed in The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center, 1050 Second Ave. in New York City. Specializing in 1930’s through 21st century design, Art & Industry may have just the extraordinary luxury item for that special corner of the room that begs for something rare and exceptional.
Ron Bell, gallery owner, has more than thirty years experience in the industry. His previous locales include Lincoln Road, Miami Beach and New York City locations, Wooster Street, Lafayette & 4th and Great Jones Street, where he still maintains a substantial presence.
The firm is known for buying and selling luxury custom design pieces, unique objects, prototypes and handmade items. They prefer to purchase unusual items that are not available anywhere else.
Some of the distinctive items available at the gallery include a crocodile attaché case, hallmarked and trimmed in nickel silver from the 1800’s, a collection of extremely rare Louis Vuitton luggage, a Jere signed sculpture, a rare French Rougier lamp, circa 1970 and a zipper lamp, circa 2001.
Another aspect of the business is renting props to film companies for use in motion pictures.
Although Art & Industry has just arrived at The Center, they are already doubling their space by incorporating galleries #25 and #26. This will give them more room for some of the larger items in their inventory.
There is no doubt that Art & Industry adds an exciting new dimension to The Center.
